Horn and Associates in Rehabilitation, PLLC began providing services in 1979 under the name of Horn, Richardson, and Associates, reflecting the names of the two original speech/language pathologists. As the company evolved into a multidisciplinary practice, services grew to provide occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, and social work, along with speech and language therapy.
Our practice has a variety of specialties and services, including providing interdisciplinary evaluations on a nationwide basis, consultation services at the international level, and more traditional therapy services within our clinics, at individual’s homes, and in schools. We value our clients’ individualities within treatment, yet also believe in the benefits of teams, including families and community supports.
Additionally, we serve as clinic training sites for universities including the University of Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky University, University of Cincinnati, and Vanderbilt University, amongst others. Our therapists are active in their national associations and several therapists lecture at both the state and national levels as well as publish in their clinical fields. Our therapists are available for community and school in-service trainings and have made presentations in the areas of mobility, executive functions, dyslexia and reading intervention, facilitation of language processing in the classroom, expository text assessment and intervention, early intervention (Advances in Normal Development and Implications for Therapy), and acquired brain injury.
We have two locations. Our Greatstone Point office primarily serves the pediatric population while our Todds Road office houses our Acquired Brain Injury program. We also provide services in local private schools and daycares.
