Christy McKay, M.S., CCC

Christy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Southwest Missouri State University, followed by a Master of Science degree from the University of Kentucky. She has been practicing at Horn and Associates since 1994, working with both children and adults. She has a history of working in acute care hospitals doing stroke, brain injury, and swallowing rehabilitation.  For many years she has also worked with the pediatric population in the areas of early intervention, phonological processing, articulation disorders, and language delay.  She has taken specialty courses in the use of the Orton-Gillingham method of treatment for dyslexia and enjoys doing reading intervention.
