After setting up your initial appointment, we will verify your insurance benefits and send you an email with insurance verification and estimated costs. This is not a guarantee of coverage; payment is based on policy guidelines and contracted rates at the time services are rendered. Payment is due at the time of service. We do ask for a credit card on file even though we will bill your insurance. Please keep in mind that professional services are rendered and charged to you or the patient and not to the insurance company. At the time of billing, which is typically within 24-48 hours of the visit, your card on file will be charged for the estimated patient responsibility. A receipt will be sent to your email and on the Invoice line, the date of service will be listed. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Electronic checks, and Health Savings accounts. If at any time you require a detailed superbill, contact our office at 859-224-4081 or officestaff@horntherapy.com.
What are the office hours?

Do I need a physician referral/doctor’s order for services?
For Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy services, we only require a referral if your insurance requires one. Kentucky Medicaid and Tricare plans require a referral. For Mental Health services, we always require a referral.

Can I attend therapy sessions with my child?
Yes. Parent and guardian participation is encouraged, as it can support your child’s progress. For the best therapeutic environment, we allow one parent or guardian to be present during the session. We kindly ask that additional family members wait outside the building to reduce distractions and maintain a calm setting.
Do you offer services for adults?
Yes. We predominantly see pediatric clients at our Greatstone office and adult clients at our Todds Road office. Our team is trained to support individuals of all ages with a variety of needs. Due to high demand, there is often a waiting list. We encourage you to contact our office directly to learn whether we are accepting new referrals at this time.
