Barbara Teague, Ph.D

Dr. Barbara Teague is a licensed psychologist with 15 years of practice experience as a school psychologist in the Scott County School System and a background as a counseling psychologist.  While in Georgetown, she worked with children from preschool to middle school, with chosen areas of interest in autism and behavioral challenges, both at school and at home.  Prior to her work as a psychologist, she spent 15 years practicing as a pediatric nurse practitioner, with experience in primary care, neonatal intensive care, and as a professor at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing.  Currently, she works in a collaborative/consultative manner with parents and families, and directly with children and adolescents.  She also has expertise in evaluations, including psycho-educational evaluations for learning disabilities, and evaluations for conditions such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
