Mackenzie Leachman, Ph.D.

Dr. Mackenzie Leachman is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of practice experience as a school psychologist in the Fayette County School System.  She has worked with children from preschool to high school and has provided consultation at the school, district and state level regarding crisis response, mental health, and behavior.  She has also provided instruction and supervision for school psychology students at the University of Kentucky.  Currently, she provides consultation with parents, families, and educators, as well as direct services with children and adolescents. Dr. Leachman utilizes cognitive-behavioral and trauma-informed practices to support the social, emotional and behavioral development of clients.  She has expertise in evaluations, including guardianship evaluations and psycho-educational evaluations for learning disabilities, and conditions such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Dr. Leachman participates in continuing education on evidence-based treatments and evaluations for children and adolescents.
